Ships Passing: The fallout of falling in to bed - For Arthur
Eames had roused when Arthur started moving, though he wasn't even close to ready to get out of bed. The beauty of things was, it wasn't as if he could be seen going in at the same time as the point man, so he merely dragged the blanket half over his head and pretended to sleep.
He lay there, listening to Arthur move around the room, crawling out long enough to kiss him and mumble about seeing him later in the day.
Except Eames never came in. No call. Just a text saying all was good, explain later. He said nothing though when he came in the day after, two days worth of stubble and looking downright worn and weary as he dropped down at his desk.

Arthur nodded and said, "Yeah, I want my daddy to show me how good I am." He bit on his bottom lip before he allowed his lips to quirk up. "I don't know, how didnt you," he asked, teasingly. He knew Eames was a good judge of character and it was good that Arthur could still surprise him.
no subject
"So you can always call me daddy, even with others around."
no subject
That was certainly an idea. "So what should this name be, Mr. Eames," he asked, tilting his head to look at him, his eyes growing a little dark.
no subject
"Mmmm, I do like that one, I admit," he said. "Formal. Shows respect. Could work."
no subject
Arthur hadn't exactly thought of that, had been calling Eames that at that moment in time but Arthur liked it. It was enough that Arthur could get away with it without anyone noticing anything but they would know. "I like it too," he admitted. "Do you have any other ideas?"
no subject
“Anything else I can think of would be suspicious. You’ve used that before,” he pointed out. “And we’ll know but others will think it’s sarcasm because you’re a dick to me.”
no subject
He nodded silently then chuckled. "I'm not the only one who's a dick, Mr. Eames" he smirked and bit on his jaw before sucking on the skin soothingly.
no subject
"Is that I am a dick, or you want my dick," he asked as if he hadn't understood him.
no subject
"Both," Arthur said with a smirk.
no subject
"Well, I should have seen that coming."
no subject
"Course you should have." Arthur pinched his thigh playfully. He sat up and reached around for a wash cloth that was next to Eames and grabbed the soap before lathering up the cloth.
no subject
“Hey now!” He laughed more though, grabbing the back of Arthur’s neck and pulling him in for a rough, sudden kiss as if that was punishment.
no subject
He released the wash cloth when Eames pulled him in for a rough kiss but groaned into his mouth, returning it. Oh, now this was definitely not punishment - not at all and as far as Arthur saw it, he could keep on doing it.
no subject
"And don't think I won't use every safe chance I have to do exactly that," he whispered, using those words careful.
Always safe. Never taking a chance of being caught.
no subject
He bit down on Eames' bottom lip before he sucked on it with a moan.
no subject
Course he could barely think when Arthur was doing things like that. Whining softly under his breath as he rocked his hips, moving against the other man.
no subject
Arthur's lips curled up at the whine and rocking of his hips. He hummed and released his bottom lip. "It seems like the 'needy' thing is just a 'with you' phenomena," he murmured with a smile, looking at him.
no subject
"And tormenting him at work. Oh how I plan to torment... Oh. So if you know your title, what can I call you so that you know exactly what I mean," he asked. "Unless you want me to call you boy in front of Cobb," he teased.
no subject
He chuckled and raised his eyebrows at the question. He tilted his head and thought about it. "No, no need to call me boy in front of Cobb," he said with a laugh. "But, you could call me 'darling', perhaps?" It was a term of endearment and one that Eames could potentially get away with without raising suspicion.
no subject
He considered that. "I don't know. I like the idea of Cobb knowing you're mine, but I do think Darling would work,' he said, purring the word, making it sound just like when he said boy.
no subject
Arthur's lips curled up in amusement. "I figured you would. But darling is --," he paused as a shiver slid down his spine. Fuck but it was absolutely decadent and seductive when Eames said 'boy' or 'darling' like that. "Yeah -- yeah, Darling," Arthur nodded. "Darling works."
no subject
Smiling at that shiver, he leaned in to nuzzle at his jaw. "That's the reaction I love."
no subject
"I quit running with Cobb but I don't quit dream share," Arthur said, wanting to make that clear. He enjoyed dream share, enjoyed point work but he wasn't going to limit himself to a somewhat unstable extractor like Cobb again. "No, but you're right - I could have that again." He paused. "I want to have that again." He needed to have it again.
Arthur smiled and tilted his head, making a soft noise of pleasure at his nuzzling. "I bet you do," he murmured.
no subject
The smile faded a bit. "I know you haven't. You should still have a life outside of the job. With or without me," he said, thinking of Arthur first and not them as a couple. Nor purely. "If I can help though, ask. I want to help."
"And then you make that noise. Such a wicked boy."
no subject
He nodded. "You have helped - a lot more than you may realize," Arthur said, looking at him, his lips quirking up. "Thank you." It was, after all, Eames who had helped him come to the realization that he didn't need to be working with Cobb anymore - not after everything the man had done. Not just to Arthur but to their teammates, both past and present.
"I am at that," Arthur agreed with a wicked little smile. He liked it when Eames said that to him.
