Ships Passing: The fallout of falling in to bed - For Arthur
Eames had roused when Arthur started moving, though he wasn't even close to ready to get out of bed. The beauty of things was, it wasn't as if he could be seen going in at the same time as the point man, so he merely dragged the blanket half over his head and pretended to sleep.
He lay there, listening to Arthur move around the room, crawling out long enough to kiss him and mumble about seeing him later in the day.
Except Eames never came in. No call. Just a text saying all was good, explain later. He said nothing though when he came in the day after, two days worth of stubble and looking downright worn and weary as he dropped down at his desk.

"And don't think I won't use every safe chance I have to do exactly that," he whispered, using those words careful.
Always safe. Never taking a chance of being caught.

He bit down on Eames' bottom lip before he sucked on it with a moan.

Course he could barely think when Arthur was doing things like that. Whining softly under his breath as he rocked his hips, moving against the other man.
no subject
Arthur's lips curled up at the whine and rocking of his hips. He hummed and released his bottom lip. "It seems like the 'needy' thing is just a 'with you' phenomena," he murmured with a smile, looking at him.

"And tormenting him at work. Oh how I plan to torment... Oh. So if you know your title, what can I call you so that you know exactly what I mean," he asked. "Unless you want me to call you boy in front of Cobb," he teased.
no subject
He chuckled and raised his eyebrows at the question. He tilted his head and thought about it. "No, no need to call me boy in front of Cobb," he said with a laugh. "But, you could call me 'darling', perhaps?" It was a term of endearment and one that Eames could potentially get away with without raising suspicion.
no subject
He considered that. "I don't know. I like the idea of Cobb knowing you're mine, but I do think Darling would work,' he said, purring the word, making it sound just like when he said boy.
no subject
Arthur's lips curled up in amusement. "I figured you would. But darling is --," he paused as a shiver slid down his spine. Fuck but it was absolutely decadent and seductive when Eames said 'boy' or 'darling' like that. "Yeah -- yeah, Darling," Arthur nodded. "Darling works."
no subject
Smiling at that shiver, he leaned in to nuzzle at his jaw. "That's the reaction I love."

"I quit running with Cobb but I don't quit dream share," Arthur said, wanting to make that clear. He enjoyed dream share, enjoyed point work but he wasn't going to limit himself to a somewhat unstable extractor like Cobb again. "No, but you're right - I could have that again." He paused. "I want to have that again." He needed to have it again.
Arthur smiled and tilted his head, making a soft noise of pleasure at his nuzzling. "I bet you do," he murmured.
no subject
The smile faded a bit. "I know you haven't. You should still have a life outside of the job. With or without me," he said, thinking of Arthur first and not them as a couple. Nor purely. "If I can help though, ask. I want to help."
"And then you make that noise. Such a wicked boy."
no subject
He nodded. "You have helped - a lot more than you may realize," Arthur said, looking at him, his lips quirking up. "Thank you." It was, after all, Eames who had helped him come to the realization that he didn't need to be working with Cobb anymore - not after everything the man had done. Not just to Arthur but to their teammates, both past and present.
"I am at that," Arthur agreed with a wicked little smile. He liked it when Eames said that to him.
no subject
He considered that, liking the idea. “If I can help you, then you know I’m going to try,” he said, his comment soft and serious. He wanted to be there for Arthur, and not just because now he truly felt that Arthur was his. Because Arthur deserved it.
“But you’re my wicked boy,” he said with a wink.
no subject
His lips curled up. Arthur wasn't used to asking for help but it was good to know, to be reminded that if he needed it, Eames would be there. "Same goes for me," he said, speaking both as a 'thank you' and an offer. He too was serious about it. If Eames needed him for anything, Arthur had his back. The man deserved that much.
"I am at that," Arthur smirked, sending him a wink in return.
no subject
Always one for details for the job, he wanted to know because he cared. Not that he cared because he needed to know for work.
"I know that too," he whispered, kissing the top of Arthur's head. "Even if we didn't need it to get through this, I know you're there." And he had faith he'd be there after this all was through as well.
no subject
Arthur's lips curled up. "Yeah, I am," he whispered and felt him relax further into Eames' arms. "Probably should get out," he murmured - the water starting to get lukewarm now if not a little chilly.
no subject
“You know, we could play truth or dare. Make all the dares sexual and the truths about us and what we want to know about the others,” he said, letting his hold relax so that Arthur could move and they could get out of the tub.
no subject
When Eames' arms relaxed, Arthur slowly stood from the bath with a soft groan. "We could," he mused and sent him a grin. "That would be fun." And it would be - not only the sexual dares but just learning more about one another, seeing how much they already know about the other. He grabbed two towels and handed one over to Eames as he stood from the water.
no subject
"Thanks," he said, drying himself off with a quick scrubbing motion. "I don't plan on letting you go for very long at all," he admitted, smiling. "So we curl up in bed and doing some sharing? Do we believe everything is the truth," he asked. Given their jobs and lives, it was a good question, even if he was joking.

Arthur dried off quickly before hanging up his towel. "Ready, Mr. Eames?" Oh, but now they both knew exactly what that meant between them and he couldn't hold in his grin.
no subject
“Oh Darling, for you I’m always ready,” he said, voice a rough and rumbling purr as he stepped up to Arthur, pushing him gently to try and push him back onto the bed

Course, with that command to pick up the towel, he laughed and dropped down to sit on the end of the bed. “Already trying to change me, are you, Love? It’s on the tile. Won’t ruin the floor.” Course he was almost nervous that Arthur was actually unhappy with it, but he was torn on giving in to changing who he was. Hadn’t Arthur liked him for him, warts and all? He wasn’t sure and as the smile faded from his face, he moved to get to his feet, moving past Arthur carefully and picking up the towel.
