Oh, did Arthur like those presents.

It wasn't long after he opened the gift and even tried on that he snapped a photo and sent him a text along with it.

When is your job over? I will be in Paris for the next few weeks.

Teasing Arthur had become fun. Before just because he could, and then because it was part of their game and all they shared. Like moments just like this.

At most the end of the month. Might be able to bring that down to when you're done. We could arrange it all together?

Arthur was glad that nothing else had changed significantly after they started sleeping together. They could still work professionally and stay together. He knew even if things got tough, Eames would be there.

It was always a fear, and they both knew it. There was that worry that making that change could screw everything up... and then that worry that eventually you end up breaking up and it went bad then too.

But Eames definitely wasn't thinking about that.

Keep me up to date, and I'll make plans. I can always try and cut things short if I need to.

He made it sound like they'd been in touch before and they'd missed a meet up. However, there was a lot said in between the lines. The job had gone to hell and now he was in Germany hiding out. What he didn't exactly say was that he'd been shot. How did you relay that in a text anyway?
