"Well damn," he said with a rumbling sound as he came to the doorway. In one hand he had a bottle of scotch, the cap missing and a the bottle a swig low. "I guess we'll have to make time in dreams one night, see if it's any different," he teased, leaning against the door frame and watching Arthur.
"You know she is. In the end, she always won," he pointed out. She was the only one he'd ever seen with that kind of luck. He doubted he'd ever see it again.
Stepping forward, he held out the bottle. "Do keep up so I can use you as an excuse not to come in too early tomorrow," he teased. "That way I can get in even later, if you're late."
